With an American icon, everything revolves around character and style. We saw it back in 1964 with the very first “pony car” that completely changed the automotive world, and we see it in amplified form with this breathtaking Ford Mustang GT Convertible from 1968. There is certainly no shortage of impressive details here. One glance at the extensive documentation file makes that immediately clear. This Mustang has been documented with true German precision, including the highly desirable German H-registration and TÜV certification.

Extensively Restored
This Mustang Convertible was fully restored, mechanically rebuilt, and reassembled in Germany. The philosophy behind the restoration can best be summarized by one clear statement: “It’s because you can’t go any further than Bare Metal.” In addition, this Mustang was factory-equipped with the “GT Equipment Group” option package, meaning it received numerous fantastic extras and sporty upgrades that make this Mustang even more desirable.

Presented in Outstanding Condition
Following its restoration, this Ford Mustang can genuinely be described as showroom-quality. The body has been finished in a dazzling interpretation of the classic factory color “Silver Frost,” a magnificent shade that perfectly highlights the muscular lines and chrome trim. The bodywork is straight, with excellent panel fit throughout. The wheels fitted with Galaxy Radial G/T tires give this silver Mustang a wonderfully aggressive appearance. Inside, the red upholstery provides a striking contrast to the exterior. The carpets are beautifully preserved, as is the dashboard, and the overall impression is exceptionally good.

The moment you lower the electric soft top and turn the key, the mighty V8 comes to life with a deep, dark growl. This is pure American theater. The car drives, shifts, and steers exactly the way a Mustang should. Welcome to the world of freedom, roaring eight-cylinders, and sun-soaked drives. The sound of this Mustang is pure rock ’n’ roll, and quite honestly, we simply cannot get enough of it.
