About this 1968 Revology Shelby GT500KR

VIN: RC9CKTSC223

This is a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Revology 1968 Shelby GT500KR Fastback with only 2000 miles on the odometer! Every CPO has gone through a rigorous 150-Point Quality Inspection, updates and mechanical repairs (if necessary), an additional Quality Inspection, and then a meticulous Detail process before we deliver it to its new owner!

This beautiful example is powered by a Roush supercharged 710hp Ford Gen 3 5.0 Ti-VCT “Coyote” DOHC V8 engine. Power is transferred to the precision-engineered Ford 8.8” Traction-Lok limited slip differential, 3.31 Ford engineered gear set, through a carbon fiber driveshaft coupled to a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission, to give a modern car feel from a green light all the way to the open road.

This very special vehicle holds the distinction of being the very first Revology Mustang to receive the newly engineered T-handle shifter! The Revology team invested a lot of time and effort into designing and producing our own exclusive automatic shifter that has a 1960’s vintage performance look, while working with the modern Ford 10R80 transmission. Not only did the team have to design the physical characteristics of the shifter, but we also had to integrate the electronics to shift the electronically controlled transmission and light up the selected gear indicator on the console with modern LEDs.

The Shelby GT500KR Fastback body is covered with high quality Glasurit NY Stone Grey paint, highlighted with Light Ivory side stripes. The body is equipped with all the ’68 Shelby panels, including the unique hood, which is secured with stylish vintage hood latches. The body features 100% new steel unibody construction to ensure each car is built for a long life, starting with a strong foundation. Additional features include modern door hinges and latches for smooth and quiet operation, modern trunk latch (with remote push button), and polyurethane bonded windshield and backlite glass for increased rigidity and safety.

Inside, you’ll find Mercedes Saddle Brown Nappa Leather interior. For comfort, you’ll find power-operated bucket front seats with head restraints and a fold-down rear seat. The dash and custom full length console feature Flat Cut Walnut veneer inserts. This fastback also features a 3-spoke wood rim steering wheel and a full array of digital gauges, USB ports, and LED interior lighting.

This vehicle is equipped with tuned double wishbone front suspension with power rack and pinion steering and 3-link rear suspension for a modern performance driving experience. It stops with gray anodized Shelby GT brake package of 12.88” slotted rotors and 4-piston front and rear brake calipers. Wheels are a great classic touch with 17” x 8” Shelby 10-Spoke wheels, wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S P245/40/ZR17 tires.

You can drive this car across the country on Route 66 or to your favorite local restaurant in comfort with amenities such as air conditioning, power windows, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, touch screen display, backup camera, 4-speaker audio system. Additional features include stainless steel Borla dual exhaust system with GT500KR quad-tips, LED exterior lighting, automatic LED headlamp system, TPMS, and a convenient built in charging system port under the rear bumper (including a CTEK battery charger/maintainer) to keep your battery charged if you don’t drive it for a long period of time.

When the manufacturer originally produced these cars, they only had a short window of time to design and work on their vehicles, before they moved on to a new model year. Revology Cars has had a decade to refine and improve upon the iconic Mustang. We’ve incorporated new technology in every part of the car to deliver that new car feel wrapped in the skin of a classic looking muscle car. We’ve painstakingly reduced noise, vibration, and harshness from these cars while improving performance and drivability on every aspect.

All CPO Revology Cars vehicles come standard with a vehicle limited warranty: a 1-year unlimited miles bumper-to-from the date of CPO delivery and any remaining time from the original 2-year unlimited miles powertrain, and 5-year unlimited miles rust and corrosion. Also included with a new vehicle purchase, tire inflator/repair kit, color-correct touch-up paint and clear coat, and an OEM-class online Revology owner’s manual.
