We’re pleased to offer this charming 1968 Triumph Spitfire Mk3, British roadster that’s been in the hands of its current owner for the past four years. He originally purchased the car while living in Laguna Beach, California. Shortly after, the car made the move north to the Pacific Northwest, where it continued to be enjoyed during the Summer months. The Spitfire has been appreciated for what it is, a lightweight, analog fun on four wheels. The decision to sell comes as the owner prepares to relocate back to Europe, where he won’t have the room to store the car.
In 2021, a number of mechanical items were addressed by a local shop. At that time, the car received new wheels and tires, along with service that included an oil and filter change, replacement radiator, new water pump and thermostat, fresh spark plug wires, updated shifter bushings, and new brake pads. When the car arrived at our facility, we performed a full inspection, including compression testing. The Spitfire is being sold as a running and driving vehicle that would benefit from additional sorting. The soft top has been removed but is included with the sale. Also included are brand new seat covers and seat foam, a set of custom White Smith gauges, a bullet-style side mirror, two 9-inch electric cooling fans, various reference materials and service literature, and a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate.
Located at our Tacoma, Washington facility and available for viewing/ inspection by appointment.
