Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 1969

It was at the Paris Salon in 1967 where Ferrari introduced its new gentleman’s grand tourer the 365 GT 2+2. A car penned by Pininfarina with direct influence from the iconic 500 Superfast the 365 GT 2+2 quickly attracted the attention of the wolds Jet Set and celebrities of its time. Frank Sinatra, Francois Hardy, Miles Davies, and many more were amongst its famous owners. Without any dough the 365 GT was not just a beautiful car but a pretty fast and usable one with its 2+2 layout and combined with a stunning V12 Colombo engine and a five speed gearbox. A combination that proved to be more than successful. Among its famous owners, Enzo Ferrari himself owned one as he has always been enthusiastic about the gentleman’s GT’s of which he was proud of..

About the Car

Delivered new in Australia as a LHD and finished at the time Avorio 2.662.016 (Ivory), original interior color: Beige VM 3218 Connolly. Car delivered new to dealer W. H. Lowe in Australia (Lowe Order #847) for Chris Caris. In the late 70’s the car was imported to Greece by Greek industrialist. In the 80’s the car was sold to the late G Moschous, a famous racing driver and Fiat Group dealer who painted the car red. It’s been presented in various articles and magazines of the time and has always been loved and taken care of. Later the car was sold to the Skouras family (20’th Century Fox) where during the early 00’s has seen a full restoration and was painted Silver with a black leather interior and without expenses spared. In 2013 the car was sold at the Coys Athena auction in Athens Greece to a collector. In 2021 the car was sold to a Shipping magnate who part exchanged the car with us for another Ferrari. It had various services during this period and a full engine and gearbox rebuilt a full stainless steel exhaust etc.

Fu al Salone di Parigi del 1967 che la Ferrari presentò la sua nuova gran turismo da gentiluomo, la 365 GT 2+2. Un'auto disegnata da Pininfarina con influenza diretta dall'iconica 500 Superfast, la 365 GT 2+2 attirò rapidamente l'attenzione del Jet Set mondiale e delle celebrità del suo tempo. Frank Sinatra, Francois Hardy, Miles Davies e molti altri furono tra i suoi famosi proprietari. Senza alcun soldo, la 365 GT non era solo una bella vettura ma anche piuttosto veloce e utilizzabile con il suo layout 2+2 e combinata con uno straordinario motore V12 Colombo e un cambio a cinque marce. Consegnata nuova in Australia con guida a sinistra e rifinita all'epoca Avorio 2.662.016 (Avorio), colore interni originali: Beige VM 3218 Connolly. Auto consegnata nuova al concessionario W. H. Lowe in Australia (ordine Lowe n. 847) per Chris Caris. Alla fine degli anni '70 l'auto importata in Grecia da un industriale greco. Negli anni '80 l'auto venduta al compianto G Moschous, famoso pilota automobilistico che possedeva un concessionario del Gruppo Fiat che la dipinse di rosso. E' stata presentata in vari articoli e riviste dell'epoca ed è sempre stata amata e curata. Successivamente l'auto è stata venduta alla famiglia Skouras (20'th Century Fox) dove nei primi anni 2000 ha subito un restauro completo ed è stata riverniciata color argento con interni in pelle nera e senza badare a spese. Nel 2013 l'auto è stata venduta ad un collezionista all'asta Coys Athena ad Atene, in Grecia. Nel 2021 l'auto è stata venduta a un magnate delle spedizioni che ha scambiato in parte l'auto con noi con un'altra Ferrari. Ha ricevuto vari tagliandi durante questo periodo e un motore completo, un cambio ricostruito, uno scarico completamente in acciaio inossidabile, ecc.
