About this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396

VIN: 1Q87U2N126761

Real Deal 1972 SS 396 Camaro, with Factory M 21 4 speed. Found in shed story. Car sat 26 years, w 41K miles. Total frame off restoration, 6 year build, runs and drives perfect. only 970 SS's made in 72, and only a handful of 4 speeds. This is one of them. Original engine and trans still in car, original trim tag depicting this as "LS 3" designating this a bona fide Big Block Camaro, with original rivets still there. Custom RS front end fabricated by now deceased famous local fabricator. Not a resto mod, a show car built in old school tradition with Motion car inspiration. Car has stunning 3 stage PPG industries Candy Apple Red, has won numerous best paint awards, and over 70 other trophys and awards, 95% 1st place, best Camaro, best in show. Only driven in summer to cruise nights and shows. Always draws a crowd, in a sea of beautiful cars, this one always stops peeps in their tracks and gets stares and thumbs up. I built this car right, and solid. Its a blast to drive, engine is potent, can be further woken up with jetting and timing, the engine builder said. I said just make it start up reliably, and it does. 72's were de tuned so I decided to build it as I would when I was 17, if I had the money. Car chassis was suprisingly rust free when I found it, body needed rear quarter and rear panel. Interior has perfect original headliner, visors, all seats and panels original, and original GM seat belts. Dash pad and carpet are new. Way too much to list, I have receipts for all, plus whatever docs I got from previous owner, comparing all numbers on this car and showing they match, plus pics of build. Vintage and original items like Motion valve covers, fly eye air cleaner, and Cal custom 4 into 1 side pipes ( easily connected) were big $$$$ at the time. Call me if interested @[phone number hidden] Id be happy to answer any questions.
