About this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

VIN: 1Q87T3N130244

1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 100% Original Unrestored Survivor, Numbers Matching, Extraordinary Documentation
We have been doing this for over twenty years. We have bought, sold, restored and driven hundreds of American muscle cars. We say this not to boast but to give context for what follows: this is the finest, most authentic, best documented Camaro Z28 we have ever seen. Not one of the best. The best.

If that sounds like marketing language, keep reading.

The car
This is a 1973 Camaro Z28 that has never been restored. It is 100% original, exactly as it left the factory, and it has earned a prestigious Gold Award confirming that status. The only non-factory addition in its entire life is a period-correct gauge set installed by a previous owner to monitor oil pressure and engine vacuum. That is it. Everything else is factory. Everything.

The original numbers-matching engine, transmission and rear axle are all present and correct. The 245 net horsepower Z28 V8 runs exactly as it should. The original Wide Ratio manual transmission still has its factory Key Lockout function intact and shifts beautifully. The Limited Slip Differential with 3.73 gearing gives the car an excellent balance between relaxed highway cruising and genuine performance when you want it. Driving this car is a time-capsule experience. It looks, feels and drives exactly as a 1973 Camaro Z28 should, because nothing has been changed.

The ownership history
Richie bought this car new and kept it for nearly four decades. He is still alive today. When he finally let it go, it passed to a dedicated Z28 collector who understood exactly what it was. That collector sold it to Alan, a British enthusiast with deep respect for muscle car heritage, who owned and cherished it for seven years. We acquired it from Alan, making us the fourth caretaker. When we collected the car it was evident how difficult it was for him to part with it. We made him a promise to continue the same level of care and respect, and we intend to keep that promise with the next owner as well.

Four owners. Clear, uninterrupted chain of custody from day one. This is extraordinarily rare.

The documentation
This is where this car becomes something entirely different from any other Z28 on the market.
Two large binders accompany the car. Inside: the original build sheet, all factory booklets and manuals, the original window sticker, all original tags, and every invoice for every piece of work ever performed on the car in its entire life. And then there is the detail that stops everyone cold when they hear it: the original checkbook used to pay for the car when it was purchased new is still with the vehicle.

We have never seen another muscle car documented to this extent. Not once.

Paperwork and shipping
We handle the complete export and shipping process from our end. For US buyers, that means no ports to chase, no freight paperwork to navigate. In most cases you simply collect the car from your nearest shipping yard, and in some cases we can arrange delivery straight to your door.

A word to our American buyers
We're based in the Netherlands, and we want to be upfront about that, because we know what it means to wire money across the Atlantic for a car you haven't sat in yet. We sell several high-end American classics to the US every year, and our customers have always left happy. We've learned what American buyers need from us: honest condition descriptions, thorough photo and video documentation, and logistics that don't become your problem.

We handle the complete shipping process from our side. All the export paperwork, documentation and freight coordination is taken care of. Most buyers simply pick the car up from their nearest shipping yard, and in some cases we deliver straight to your door. You won't be chasing paperwork or making calls to a port. We've done this enough times that the process is smooth, and we're happy to walk you through every step of it.

If you want more photos, a walkaround video, undercarriage footage, or close-ups of any specific detail, just ask. We'll get it to you quickly. No question is too small, and no request is too much.

Bottom line
A 100% original, unrestored 1973 Camaro Z28 survivor with numbers-matching drivetrain, Gold Award recognition, four owners from new, a clear and documented ownership chain, and the most complete documentation package we have ever seen on any muscle car. This car is not for everyone. It is for the collector who understands that originality and provenance at this level cannot be recreated, only preserved. If that is you, we would like to hear from you.
