ORIGINAL SOLE OWNER! 1974 Datsun 260Z. 3 speed automatic, dual carburetor, 2.6 L inline-six. A very rare Z, manufactured 2/74. 119,575 miles. Located 35 miles southeast of Spokane, Washington. Clean title. Possibly can deliver within Pacific Northwest US for a fee. No trades. Starts well and runs well, drives with a sweet low rumble. Original paint, pin striping, and all Datsun emblems.
Always kept under cover or garaged when not driven. For the first 30-ish years, it was driven mostly for long drives almost exclusively on highways (very limited in-town driving), and for the last 10 or so years, it's been driven about 500 miles per year. Car is started and driven short distances once a week. Oil changed every 1500 miles.
Front and rear bumper guards, rocker panels, sunroof, and Chastain Shadow louvres installed by dealer at time of purchase.
Original dual carbs rebuilt about 7 years ago. Never had any major maintenance issues. No accidents.
All these original parts work great: hatch, sunroof, antenna, wipers, tach, odometer, heater, fuel gauge, front window defroster, rear defogger, blinkers, windows, door and hatch locks, all lights, hood, horn.
Floor boards are solid. Pedals and gear shift are in great shape. No cracks in dash or doors. Headliner is in perfect shape. Sunroof does not leak. Small tear on edge of passenger armrest. Seats have tears. Air conditioner not working. Aftermarket Kraco radio likely needs a new fuse.
Limited rust-- there's road rock chip damage, some small dings, a 1.5” circle of paint chip on right side, rusty dent on the lower passenger door, clear coat hazing on roof. (Pictures show the dings, etc.)
Thank you.
