I’ve owned this beautiful 1981 BMW 318i from day one — over 40 years of care, memories, and regular maintenance. She's a true classic: manual transmission, two doors, and full of character.
I imported her from Gemany in 1982. She was built in 1981, but on the US Papers they wrote she is from 1982.
The car runs well, is mechanically sound, and has been treated with respect every step of the way. I’m now at a point in life where I can’t drive her like I used to, and I’m looking to find someone who will appreciate and care for her as much as I have.
She is Historic Motor Vehicle (HMV).
I believe these are her engine details:
She is E21
Engine code: M10B18
Displacement: 1.8 L (1766 cm³) inline-4
Valvetrain: SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder
Fuel system: Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection
Power output: ~105 hp (77 kW) at 5,800 rpm
Torque: ~145 Nm at 4,500 rpm
