what’s a 2012 Monaco Knight 40PDQ worth with 32k miles?

Rusty assistant avatar

Based on my search of similar Monaco RVs currently available, a 2012 Monaco Knight 40PDQ with 32k miles is worth approximately $85,000–$95,000, with this particular example listed at $89,400.

Here’s how I got there: I found three comparable Monaco diesel coaches from the same era:

  • 2013 Monaco Diplomat 43DFT: $139,900 (35,676 mi) – a step up from the Knight line
  • 2012 Monaco Knight 40PDQ: $89,400 (32,420 mi) – the subject vehicle
  • 2010 Monaco Diplomat: $57,500 (53,000 mi) – older with higher miles

The $89,400 asking price sits right around the market average and is well within the $57K–$140K range for similar Monaco coaches. Given the exceptionally low mileage (32k is excellent for a 2012 RV) plus the pile of recent work—fresh engine rebuild, new tires (‘23), new batteries, upgraded suspension, solar install, Starlink, etc.—I’d say this is fair market value. A mechanically sorted coach with that service history is definitely worth a premium.

Want me to dig up any other Class A diesel pushers, or do you have questions about the Knight vs. the Diplomat lineup?
