About this 1984 Chrysler LeBaron

VIN: 1C3BC55G0EG165598

1984 Chrysler Lebaron-Mark Cross
Town & Country Convertible Woody!
A real gem!

Take a trip back in time! My mother was the second owner and passed it down to me.

The car mileage states 45,000 miles, but it truly has only 17,500 miles. The cluster had to be replaced, and the mileage came with that cluster. Finding someone who could replace the chip was unknown. Downsizing unfortunately. Please, no lowball, no comments about the different movies.

The 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country Convertible is a notable car, particularly for its unique "woody" look, which pays homage to the original Town & Country wagons of the 1940s.

The Woody appearance with its
Faux Wood Paneling:
This convertible stood out with simulated wood grain paneling on its sides, giving it the classic "woody" appearance.

Available for a Limited Time:
The woody look was available on LeBaron Town & Country convertibles from 1983 to 1986.

Mark Cross Edition and features
Mark Cross Package:
The 1984 model was offered as a Mark Cross edition, which provided a well-equipped vehicle.

Standard Mark Cross Features:
This package included special tan leather seating, air conditioning, cruise control, power tinted windows, power seats, power locks, a leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, and an AM/FM/Cassette sound system.
Electronic Voice Alert: A distinctive feature of this generation was Chrysler's Electronic Voice Alert. This computerized voice provided warnings like "Your door is ajar" or "Your engine oil pressure is low".

Digital Instrument Cluster: Digital instrument clusters became standard equipment on Town & Country models in 1984.
Power Convertible Top and Features: The convertible roof was power-operated, adding convenience. Other features available included power windows and tinted windows.

Engine and performance
Engine Options:
The 1984 LeBaron had various engine options, including a 2.2L 99 hp I4 and a 2.6L 105 hp I4. A turbocharged 2.2L engine was also available.

Transmission: Power was sent to the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle.

Performance: Reviews at the time noted the car's relatively slow acceleration, especially with the non-turbocharged engines, but that it handled well.

Limited production
Rarity: The 1984 LeBaron Mark Cross Town & Country Convertible was produced in limited numbers, with only 1,105 units made that year and approximately 3,000 in total between 1983 and 1986.

In essence, the 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country Convertible woody was a luxurious and distinctive vehicle that offered a blend of classic design cues and modern features for its time.
