The truck was my grandfathers. My mechanic uncle is who I purchased it from. As far as I know it has never been involved in a wreck. Maintenance paperwork shows basic maintenance/oil changes. The truck was never lifted or lowered and it looks overall stock. My uncle took the bed off when he was doing some work on it and said he didn’t see anything wrong with the frame and was in good condition. The truck has spent all its time my family has owned it in GA/AL/FL so has no road salt damage. There is rust on certain parts of the body panels where the paint has come off and some surface rust on other parts. One visible dent on the back and there might be some other small dents and scratches that don’t stand out. The paint is also chipping in some places. The A/C works and blows cold air. The radio doesn't currently work but it looks to be the original radio with tape deck.
Overall I'd say the condition is to be expected on a used 39 year old (at time of writing) antique truck. The truck has certainly been used but not abused by my grandfather, uncle, and myself. It runs and drives straight with low miles and should run for hundreds of miles more.
