I have owned this toyota for over 30 years. I am the second owner an purchased it when it had just over 100k on the odometer. I have kept up on all maintenance and repairs needed. All done with oem parts except engine upgrades, exhaust upgrades etc. A190 k I had to change the block due to stripped out headbolt holes. I used a documented 50 k salvage engine which I tore apart for full inspection and replaced the oil pump, water pump, timing chain, had a complete head job and installed a RV torquer cam. I have gasked matched both intake and exhaust, it has a 2" highrise carb adapter with a Weber Outlaw 38 carb on it, headers, and performance low restrictive exhaust. Many parts have been replaced as needed. Brand new clutch about 40k ago, oem. Heavy duty aluminum 3 core radiator, heavy duty fan clutch and fan. Engine and drivetrain all perfect with execption of a small leak in the very rear of the oilpan gasked, right where the engine connects to the trans. I just have not fixed this yet, as I need to lift the engine to put a new pan gasket in. It runs very strong and is impressive for a carbed 22r. Not perfect cosmetically but very impressive for its age. Paint and graphics were done in 2020.
