Delivered new to Japan, the car is believed to have remained under long-term ownership there before being imported to Germany in 2021 by the previous seller, from whom it was subsequently acquired.

The 328 GTS represents the final evolution of Ferrari’s transverse mid-engine V8 platform that began with the 308. Combining refined Pininfarina styling with the enlarged 3.2-liter V8, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and a five-speed manual gearbox, the 328 delivered 270 horsepower and a balance of usability and mechanical purity that made it one of the most beloved Ferraris of the 1980s.

This example presents in very good original condition. The Rosso Corsa paintwork retains a deep gloss, with the front end refinished to correct stone-chip wear and mild dulling of the finish on the engine cover and rear panels from age-related exposure. The interior remains largely original with wear consistent with age and use, preserving its factory-installed Crema leather upholstery.

The accompanying service history documents a pattern of regular maintenance during its life in Japan, with recurring “Shaken” inspection intervals and fluid changes recorded. In July 2021, major service work was completed including replacement of timing belts, tensioners, V-belts, spark plugs, filters, and all fluids. Most recently, in May 2025, the car underwent an extensive mechanical refresh addressing heat exchanger and coolant system repairs, oil pan resealing, airflow-sensor adjustment, and replacement of several seals and hoses.

The car is offered with its jack kit, cover, and service documentation.
