This 240 SX is a one owner vehicle. This is the first time being offered for sale since my mother purchased it new from the Nissan dealer in Rapid City, SD in 1993. I have the original title issued in 1993 in hand and is free and clear. This car was her pride and joy and was babied its whole life. I don't believe it has ever been parked outside overnight, a day since new, whether the weather was good or bad. It is completely original with the exception of the Alpine stereo she had professionally installed in 1993 and the tinted windows with the roses etched in the rear side glass. Otherwise is un-altered or modified in any way. The car is in exceptional condition considering the age. It has been kept under a quality car cover every time it would not be driven the next day. The body is 100% rust free, not a spec of rust anywhere, due to always being kept inside.
I am her son, and I own a restoration shop, restoring classic vehicles for over 35 yrs, and have done all the maintenance on the 240 since the warranty expired. We replaced timing belt and gears in 2005, and has only had about 10,000 miles put on it since then. Also a new slave cylinder, speakers and replaced the electric antenna, and of course new brakes once or twice. It runs and drives like new, no issues whatsoever. It could use rear shocks which I have ordered and will install before it sells. Everything works as it should. Cold A/C, cruise, heads up display, electric seat belts, etc. Interior is exceptional with very little wear, and the dash is flawless. As is the rest of the interior, still like new. My mother had it cleaned and detailed religiously whether it needed it or not. Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever seen it dirty at all. In fact, I would bet she has never gone above the speed limit in it...lol. She has always driven like she's 80 yrs old, which she almost is now. I swore to keep it in the family until her passing, but we all have agreed it is time to find it a new home. I drive it a few times a year since it's been in my possession and get stopped every time by someone wanting to buy it, but now might be the time. Otherwise it is under cover in my heated shop. You won't find another one owner 240sx in this condition very often, if at all. Asking 24500, but I am open to a reasonable offer. I hope to find it a good home, where it will be appreciated and taken care of. Otherwise I have no problem keeping it. This is not a must sell. Oh, also, the drivers side head light motor needs repair, goes up just fine, but you have to put it down by hand. If I get close to asking price, I will replace or repair it prior to sale. One more important detail, it has NEVER been in an accident or had any body damage of any kind to include no hail damage either. It does have a few very minor door dings from her trips to Walmart over the years, they are hard to see,,,,but could easily be removed with PDR. Paint is very good considering the age, with small imperfections here and there...maybe a few small knicks.....completely original factory paint....also note! The milage is 149,000 or close to that. I'll get a look and see exact milage and will update, but it's near that and are actual....
Serious inquiries only please, and thanks for your time looking.... Rod
