I bought this vehicle from the original owner. That is, the original owner(s) gave this vehicle to their son upon graduating college. This individual routinely cleaned and waxed it for many years and stuck to the maintenance schedule. Take this for what it is worth, but myself and the original owner were both engineers, and we both stuck to maintaining the vehicle on a regular schedule.
Since purchasing the vehicle, I replaced the front wheel bearings, brakes and rotors, as well the front brake lines. Outside of that and oil changes, this vehicle was my daily driver for two years. I even drove it from Gulfport, MS to Venice, FL to haul a john boat back. No problems at all on that trip.
The rear frame is rusting, but if you are buying this to redo from the ground up as I intended to do, then it's not a terrible issue. As seen in the pictures, there is some body rust that needs attention.
Also, the powering steering pump just failed, so that will need replaced, along with the rear window drive motor. Outside of those problems, it is as it appears in the pictures. It still runs fine to this day. It does come with a new battery and fresh oil change.
