Life Story of a 1995 BMW M3
The story begins July 1994, when I placed an order for a newly released second generation
M3 at Ralph Schomp BMW in Littleton, Colorado with the BMW European Delivery Program.
Not only did this allow me and my family to enjoy driving an M3 but also driving it in Germany,
Austria and Switzerland. Truly an experience of a lifetime.
In the mid 90's, MBW's Motorsport division introduced the E36 M3 to the American market.
It was designed to be the ultimate road machine, balancing exceptional performance with
every day usability. This M3 was a new arrival on the scene, and I was fortunate enough to
be its first owner. This car was built before digital screens and driver assist features took over.
It provides true steering feel and road feedback, giving you the sensation of being truly in control.
For the past 31 yers, I've experienced first hand the enjoyment of owning this E36 '95 M3,
which also has now firmly entered the modern classic territory.
The car is in excellent condition both inside and out. I have documents of every oil change, all
repairs and complete service records. I had a minor accident in July 2010 with slight damage
to the driver's side rear bumper and tail light. This M3 is highly original with some appropriate
modifications that enhance the authentic M3 driving experience.
I've owned several BMWs during this time, so I was able to enjoy the M3 for special weekend
drives.
Reason for selling: I have enjoyed my '95 M3 for a third of my life and will continue to cherish
the wonderful memories for the year ahead. I believe it's time for the next chapter in the life of
my '95 BMW M3 and let another car enthusiast enjoy and appreciate this wonderful car.
