1990s Buick Roadmaster – Collector’s Edition
Mileage: ~80,000
Ownership: I am the 3rd owner
Condition: Well-maintained, garage-kept, mechanically sound
The first owner kept this Roadmaster for 12 years before selling it to a close friend of mine. It was garage-stored for about six years, contributing to its excellent overall condition. The engine was replaced in 2021, and since purchasing it I’ve put only 12–14 miles on the car.
This is my fourth Roadmaster, and this particular one is a collector’s edition. The body and interior are in very good shape, and the car has been cared for by the same mechanic the entire time I’ve owned it.
Work Completed in the Last Year
New Factory paint job and wood replaced with facotry wood (I have a good amount fo replacement due to =any dings)
New headliner
New carpet
Rear seats reupholstered
Radio antenna replaced
All four window motors replaced
Regular maintenance by a trusted, long-term mechanic
Known Issues
Tailgate: Currently swings open; needs a replacement part to operate in the traditional two-way function.
Steering wheel: Has a custom cover due to wear.
Third-row seat: Needs a new switch cable to fold completely flat. (I didn’t haul anything—just my grandchildren, who loved the rear-facing seats.)
