About this 1997 Ford Mustang GT SVO Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise Edition

VIN: 1FALP45X3VF196886

1997 Mustang SVO Woodward Dream Cruise #57 out of 58, 4.6L, Automatic,Convertible.

Updated- after discussing with some experts and understanding some of the updates needed the price has been lowered.

The production figures are as follows- 32 convertibles and 26 coupes. Of the coupes, 14 were five-speeds, 12 were automatics. Of the convertibles, 23 were automatic, nine had a manual transmission. There were a few odd balls when it came to interior and top combinations. Two were built with black interior (all others were Graphite); one was a five-speed convertible, the other an automatic coupe. There were seven black-topped convertibles (five automatic, 2 five-speed) leaving 18 automatics and seven five-speeds with a white top. The only car that was very different was #58: It did not have leather interior, nor did it have the Mach 460 CD sound system. However, it was one of the nine five-speed-equipped convertibles

The car has been in my wife's famiy as the original owner. It's garage stored in the winter with a battery tender. We're ready to have someone own the car that will truly appreciate it. Price is negotiable.
The good - all original OEM, garage stored in Cincinnati winters, car is maintained, convertible top works, drivers side seat works. Radio works and includes a Bluetooth converter. AC repaired last summer, new battery and new front shocks last summer as well.
The bad - if I was keeping the car I would explore replacing the top, it's showing signs of wear after 29 years. The front left drivers side tire seems to get lower over the winter but Discount Tires was able to fix the drivers rear due to the same issue. They believe after 29 years it's a potential rim leak. I would explore rear shocks, not required but again if I were keeping the car. Has minor scuffs on the body and and sides. I would also replace the driver side power seat motor as it's on its last legs.
The Ugly - Back in the early 2000''s hit a curb. The passenger side exhaust pipe was repaired in roughly 2001. Last summer it broke and was fixed again. The fix can be adjusted to be flush and I would explore if I weren't selling the car. Sometimes while driving the car, hard shifts in the early gears. Nothing has ever been diagnosed and we've never had issues.

The car has been a fun drive and we truly want the right buyer who can enjoy, appreciate, and fix it up for their own enjoyment. The purpose of this description is full transparency so potential buyers know and understand exactly what they're getting on a 29 year old car.
