THE 2000 MIATA ECU:
The ECU controls various engine management functions, including air/fuel mixture, it's not the sole component controlling the mixture. The ECU utilizes various sensors to gather information about the engine's operating conditions and then uses this data to precisely control the amount of fuel injected. The MAF sensor provides real-time data to the ECU, allowing it to adjust the Electronic Port-Fuel-Injection System, accordingly. By precisely determining the air mass flow rate, the ECU can calculate the appropriate amount of fuel needed for efficient combustion. Oxygen sensors, located in the exhaust system, measure the oxygen content in the exhaust gases, The ECU, Corrects air/fuel ratio from Oxygen Sensor Exhaust Input.
