Lot 3218: 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta

Ferrari produced 448 examples of the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina.

Originally, Ferrari intended to build 444 units, but the number 4 is considered unlucky in Japan and China, so they added 4 more cars to the production run. All were built in 2001 to celebrate Pininfarina’s 70th anniversary, and each car was individually numbered with a custom build plaque. It’s one of the rarer modern Ferraris, making it quite special!
