One-Owner 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited
with original paint "stone white" originally purchased on St. John, in the US Islands. The interior is grey cloth, and all seats have had neoprene covers since new with no wear and tear. It has never been off-roaded and runs perfectly. The car has 22,500 original miles with no damage and no accidents. The car survived hurricane Irma without a scratch, however the soft top was damaged from wind but fortunately no rain. We shipped the Jeep to Florida and a new soft top was installed.
The Jeep has new Goodyear Dura Trac tires installed due to the age of the original tires, and an upgraded original AM-FM stereo/CD player with an iPod cable connect add, along with higher quality speakers installed after purchase. The underside of the Jeep has had a recent arctic blast cleanup as shown in the photos.
The 2004 through 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is referred to as the Unicorn due to its unique handling performance in off-road settings due to its extended length.
The original description of the Jeep stated: The 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon are essentially long versions of the Sport and Rubicon models. For 2006, Unlimited added four-wheel disc brakes, a 3.73:1 Dana 44 rear axle with limited-slip differential, and 15-inch aluminum wheels with 30-inch tires. That's in addition to full-steel doors, fog lamps, Sunrider soft top with sunroof feature, tow hooks, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD player, high-back bucket seats, full-length console and courtesy lights. The 2006 Unlimited Rubicon remains essentially a stretch-wheelbase version of the standard Rubicon.
A Rubicon nameplate is on either side of the hood. Heavy-gauge diamond-plate sill guards are bolted to the body sides to protect the rocker panels from damage and dings from rocks and stumps in the backcountry. Goodyear Wrangler 31-inch tires are mounted on 16-inch, five-spoke aluminum wheels with dished faces to protect them from debris and obstacles. Generous ground clearance helps the Rubicon traverse the trail.
The Unlimited models have a multi-functional soft top called Sunrider, that folds completely or only from above the front seats in a sunroof-like configuration unique to the Unlimited - extended length design.
