The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS was the official pace car for the 2010 Indianapolis 500. It was a specially designed version of the 2SS trim with the RS package. A limited run of approximately 200 Indy 500 Pace Car replicas were also produced. These replicas featured unique exterior and interior elements specific to the event.
Key Features of the 2010 Camaro SS Indy Pace Car:

Exterior:
The pace car and replicas were painted Inferno Orange Metallic with full-length White Diamond stripes. They featured Indianapolis 500 Centennial Era decals and badges, including those on the doors and front fenders.

Interior:
The interior included black and inferno orange leather bucket seats with embroidered Indianapolis 500 Centennial Era logos on the headrests. The car also had special orange Camaro floor mats and Inferno Orange door trim.

Engine:
The pace car was equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine, producing 400 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Unique Elements:
A custom front grille, amber lens tail lamps, and a custom interior light bar were included. The car also featured Brembo brakes and Pirelli P Zero tires.

Limited Production:
Only 200 replicas were made available for purchase by the public through select dealerships
