I purchased this car from a Harrisburg dealer on my 50th birthday in 2011. For 2 years, it was my daily driver and accumulated 90% of it's current road use. Since 2013, it has been kept for safe keeping under a cover in my farm shop and only driven a few hundred miles annually to maintain the mechanicals. The reason I parked it was due to a parking lot bump to the right front quarter panel in 2013 at CJ's tire when an idiot parked the car in the wrong place and then another idiot backed into it. The result necessitated fixing a ding in the right front quarter panel and the replacement of the right headlight cover. (see Carfax for verification). This incident also made me understand that this can never happen again to such a collectable car so I put it away for keeps. It was placed undercover and guarded by an attack Yorkshire terrier ever since and has thankfully remained very safe in her care.
Now I am almost 64 and have always called this V wagon my "two weddings car" as I have raised two daughters who will need to be married off with the appropriate celebrations. It is now time to sell and consummate the long standing plan for this special collectable Cadillac that has been under my roof all this time.
It's a monster in disguise and fortunately, I only experienced one court appearance - in Virginia - for very high speed driving in these intervening years. I will testify that the fun is worth the possibility of incarceration. If this doesn't sound appealing, buy a civilian car. If you buy this undercover demon, hold on and be careful. You will get your moneys worth. Thanks for you interest in this highly prized and unique Caddy wagon. At $74,500, you will be rewarded as an investor and enthusiast if you can keep and maintain this car the right way.
