2014 MINI COOPER HATCHBACK*
VIN: WMWXM5C52ET972967
72,700 MILES
“It was bound to happen. Smaller cars have been getting bigger for years and now this trend has hit Mini. Specifically, we're talking about the fully redesigned, and bigger, 2014 Mini Cooper hatchback. What hasn't changed is the spunky and agile nature of this little runabout that makes it such a blast to drive, even when you're just running errands. And it's still one of the smallest cars you can buy, so the Mini remains a snap to park. All told, the minor growth spurt and other changes have boosted practicality, performance and fuel efficiency without affecting the hatchback's lovable personality.”–-Edmunds
Built during the first model year of Mini’s third generation, this brightly colored, one-owner Cooper Hatchback exemplifies the brand’s esthetic. It is amazingly fun to drive, agile and responsive, and features eye-popping Volcanic Orange paint that stands out prominently from the grays, silvers, blacks and whites that dominate today’s automotive colorscape. Weighing in at under 2800 pounds, its 1.5-liter, turbocharged engine and 6-speed manual transmission deliver sportscar-like acceleration (0-60 mph in 7.3 seconds). Yet the car remains mild mannered and manageable in traffic. Combined with its EPA fuel economy ratings of 30 city/42 highway, it’s a great combination of fun, performance and practicality.
The owner purchased the car new in 2014 and has driven it 72,700 miles. It is well optioned with Mini’s Sport, Cold-weather and Media packages, which include a panoramic moonroof, heated leather sport seats, a premium sound system with satellite radio, and LED lighting. Factory alloy wheels are shod with Yokohama Avid ENVigor run-flat tires that are date-coded 2023. The wheels show some curb rash commensurate with vehicle age and mileage.
Regularly maintained and cared for by its original owner, this Mini Cooper hatchback has always been garaged. All vehicle systems work as they should, and the car runs and drives like a much newer vehicle. The car has a clean Michigan title and is offered with its original owner’s manual, two keys, and service maintenance records.
Disclosure: Minor front-end body repair was reported in 2018 from an encounter with a deer. There is also some minor paint flaking around the left turn signal light housing, which shows clearly in the photo gallery.
