What are the common problems with the 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost’s air suspension system?

The 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost’s air-suspension is generally reliable, but owners report a few recurring weak spots:

  1. Rear air-spring leaks – after 60-80k miles the rear bags can develop pin-hole leaks, causing the car to sink overnight or sit nose-down.
  2. Compressor/relay fatigue – extended run-times (often from small leaks) overheat the BMW-shared compressor; relay contacts also burn out, so the car won’t rise on start-up.
  3. Valve-block sticking – debris or moisture can make the aluminum valve block stick open, so the corner may stay inflated or refuse to rise; you’ll see uneven ride height.
  4. Ride-height sensors – the four Hall-effect sensors (same part as BMW F01 7-Series) can fail, giving false readings that trigger “Suspension Fault” warnings and lumpy ride.
  5. Harness/plug corrosion – because the compressor/valve block lives low in the right rear wheel-well, water and road salt can corrode the multi-plug, setting intermittent faults.

Fix costs are luxury-car high: figure $1,200-$1,800 per air spring, $1,400-$2,000 for a compressor, and $600-$900 for the valve block. Many owners convert to Arnott-brand reman parts or full coil-spring kits once out of warranty.

Would you like help finding a well-sorted 2015 Ghost or parts sources for the work?
