The Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary was produced as a celebration of one of the most successful riders of all time and a legend in motorcycle racing: Troy Bayliss.

Based on the V2, this bike stands out via a race-inspired livery from a 996 R, which is the bike Bayliss won his 1st world championship title on in 2001. Along with a host of performance-specific upgrades to aid riders on the track. The upgrades include 3kg of overall weight savings achieved by a lightweight lithium-ion battery, upgraded Ohlins components such as the fork, steering damper, and rear shock absorber, and single-seater configuration from the factory.

This particular example, chassis # ZDMHAATW9PB009501, sports the factory applied livery with the Shell logo, Bayliss’ iconic #21 race number, its production number of 2203, and his reproduced signature on the fuel tank. This example has delivery miles, just over 7 miles to be exact, and has never seen the road. The current and first owner of this motorcycle, an avid collector of both rare cars and bikes, purchased this example with the intention to showcase it in his home. He drained the fuel out, but left the remaining fluids, and showcased it as a piece of art in his home office. This example would again make for a perfect office art piece or be the first to experience this brand new race-inspired bike on track or the open road.
