The Manual, Sedan version of the E60 BMW M5 was introduced for the 2007 model year. These North American market exclusive manual-equipped high performance sedans were powered by BMW's S85 engine, which was a naturally aspirated 5.0L V10 that generated 500hp. Drive from the engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission. Production of the manual-equipped E60 M5 Sedan lasted until 2010, although the M5 continue life in the next generation 5 Series as the F10 BMW M5.
