The Allard L was a series of roadsters introduced in 1946. The L, also known as the L-Type, was built on a lengthened Allard K1 platform, and was offered in a four seat roadster body style. These cars were powered by either a 3.6L or 4.4L Ford V8 engine, both of which were paired to a 3 speed manual transmission sending drive to the rear wheels. Production of the Allard L ended in 1950, with a total of 191 examples built.
