The Alvis TA 14, also known as the Fourteen, was a series of cars that were introduced in 1946. The TA 14 was Alvis' first car produced after the end of WW2. This series of cars were built as rolling chassis by Alvis and given to coachbuilders for bodying. Mulliners of Birmingham built four seat sports saloons, whereas Tickford and Carbodies offered drophead coupe bodies. The TA 14 was powered by a 1.9L inline four engine that generated 65hp, which it sent to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Production of the Alvis TA 14 ended in 1950, when it was replaced by the Alvis TA 21.
Q: When was the Alvis TA 14 produced?
A: The Alvis TA 14 was sold for model years 1947 to 1950.
