AMC Rebel - Base Model (1966 to 1970)

The Base Model was the standard version of the AMC Rebel. Introduced in 1966, these cars were available in various body styles, including coupe, sedan, and wagon. A standard 232ci inline six engine was fitted to the Base Model, but various V8s were optional, ranging from 290ci to 390ci in displacement. Drive was sent to the rear wheels through manual or automatic transmission options. Production of the AMC Rebel ended in 1970.
