Aston Martin debuted their new sedan, the Rapide, for the 2010 model year. The launch, or Base Model Rapide featured a sleek, four door sedan body style that was powered by Aston's AM11 engine. This 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 powerplant generated 470hp and 443 lb ft of torque. Drive from the engine was sent to the rear wheel through a 6 speed 'Touchtronic II' automatic transmission. Production of the Base Model Aston Martin Rapide lasted until 2013, when it was replaced by the updated Aston Martin Rapide S.
