Audi 100 - C2 (1977 to 1982)

The second generation Audi 100 was introduced for the 1977 model year. The second generation of Audi 100 was known as the C2. This updated generation of 100 saw the addition of the Audi 200 as a more luxurious variant. Additionally, starting in 1977, the 100 became known as the Audi 5000 for the United States market. The C2 generation of Audi 100 was offered as a two or four door sedan and also saw the introduction of the 'Avant' five door hatchback. Engine options included a range of inline four and inline five engines. Production of the second generation 100 ended in 1982, when the model was replaced by the Third Generation Audi 100.
