BMW 1602 Cabriolet (1968 to 1971)

The BMW 1602 Cabriolet was the second of three body styles introduced for the BMW 1602. Debuting for the 1968 model year, the 1602 cabriolet was built by the coachbuilder Baur and was powered by BMW's M116 engine. This 1.6L inline four had an output of 84hp and 96 lb ft of torque that was sent to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Production of the BMW 1602 Cabriolet was limited, with just 1,682 examples built before the end of production in 1971.
