BMW 1 Series - E8x (2005 to 2013)

The first generation BMW 1 Series, collectively known as the E8x, was introduced for the 2005 model year. The first generation was built in various bodystyles, including 3 Door Hatchback (E81), 5 Door Hatchback (E87), Coupe (E82), and Convertible (E88). At Classic.com we only track the following variants: 125i, 128i, 130i, 135i, 135is and the most notable BMW 1M. It is common to find E8x Race Cars as well. BMW has never sold 1 Series hatchbacks in North America, only offering the coupe and convertible variants. Production of the BMW E8x 1 Series ended in 2013, and the generation was replaced by the F20 BMW 1 Series.
