The Touring, or station wagon, version of the E60 BMW M5 was introduced for the 2008 model year. Although the factory only built the Touring with an SMG automatic transmission, many enthusiasts have replaced the factory transmission with a 6 speed manual. Exclusively offered in the European market, the E60 M5 Touring was powered by BMW's S85 engine, which was a naturally aspirated 5.0L V10 that had an output of 500hp.
