BMW X3 - F25 (2011 to 2017)

The second generation BMW X3, known as the F25, was introduced for the 2011 model year. Its characterized by a more dynamic design and larger size compared to the first generation. It featured xDrive all-wheel drive in many versions and an 8 speed automatic transmission across much of the range. At Classic.com we only track down the M40i and Alpina XD3 versions. The X3 M40i is equipped with a high-performance turbocharged inline six gasoline engine that delivers approximately 360hp and offers a very sporty driving experience. The Alpina XD3 is a six cylinder diesel version tuned by Alpina that achieves around 388hp, combining luxury with exceptional performance. Manufactured in the United States at the Greer plant in South Carolina, the F25 combines modern technology, comfort and safety with BMW's signature agile and dynamic driving experience, establishing itself as a versatile premium option within the luxury midsize SUV segment. Built until 2017, the F25 was replaced by the G01 for the 2018 model year.
