BMW Z4 sDrive23i - E89 (2009 to 2011)

The sDrive23i was introduced in 2009 as one of the entry level versions of the BMW Z4 E89. It's a two seater roadster with a distinctive electrically operated retractable hardtop, a feature that set it apart from its soft top predecessor. It features rear wheel drive sDrive and was available with either a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed Steptronic automatic transmission. It's powered by the renowned N52B25 engine, a naturally aspirated 2.5L inline six producing 204hp, appreciated for its smooth operation, distinctive sound and linear power delivery. Among its most notable characteristics are the balance between comfort and sportiness, as well as the fact that it was one of the last BMW roadsters with a naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine before the advent of turbocharged engines. The BMW Z4 sDrive23i E89 was produced until 2011.
