The second generation of Cadillac V-12 was introduced in 1936. Also known as the Series 80/85, the second generation of V-12 was offered in a variety of body styles, and in a short or long wheelbase (Series 80, Series 85 respectively). All second generation V-12's were fitted with Cadillac's 6.0L V-12 and were in production until 1937, when the V-12 was merged into the Cadillac V-16.
