Chevrolet Biscayne - 1st Gen (1958 to 1958)

The first generation of Chevrolet Biscayne debuted for the 1958 model year. The first geneation Biscayne was a series of cars that were introduced above the Chevrolet Delray, yet after the Delray's discontinuation, the Biscayne became Chevrolet's entry level full-size offering. Two and four door sedan body styles were available, and the model saw yearly updates to its styling. A 235ci inline six cylinder engine was standard, yet two V8 options were available. Production lasted just one year, until 1959, when the Second Generation Chevrolet Biscayne was unveiled.
