The Chevrolet Indy 500 Pace Truck was a limited production variant of the 4th Gen Chevrolet C1500 that was offered for the 1993 model year. As the 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 had been chosen as the 1993 Indy 500 Official Pace Car, Chevrolet created a special run of C1500s in order to commemorate the company's participated in the famed race. These trucks were finished in a special black and silver paint scheme and were equipped with a 5.7L V8 engine that sent drive to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. Just a total of 1,534 examples of the 1993 Chevrolet Indy 500 Pace Truck were built, all for the 1993 model year.
