The Chevron B8 was the successor of the B6 model. The B8 came to life in 1968 as a tubular lightweight sports racing car, built for both track and hill-climbs; production lasted until 1970. A total of 44 cars were built with three different powertrains being offered: Ford-Cosworth, BMW and Coventry-Climax. All engines were a four-cylinder and power output ranged from 200-225hp. All cars were fitted with a 5-speed transmission. The B8 was replaced by the B16.
