The Chrysler 300H was introduced for the 1962 model year, and was the eighth variant of the 300 Letter Series. Like the previous generation, the 300H was offered as a two door Hardtop or Convertible, and was powered by a 6.8L (413ci) 'Wedge' V8 engine available in two states of tune. Like all Letter Series cars, the 300H was only available for one model year, with its replacement being the Chrysler 300J. 1962 also marked the introduction of the lower tier Chrysler 300 Non-Letter Series, which caused a drop in demand for the 300H.
