The DS 21 Cabriolet was the upgraded version for the DS19 Cabriolet, available from the 1965 model year. The main change for this Cabriolet version, which was also called "d'Usine" meaning "from the factory," was the powertrain was upgraded from 2.0L inline four to a more powerful 2.1L inline four. The DS21 Cabriolet was produced together with Henry Chapron, a renowned French coachbuilder that was already building customized version of the DS in different body styles including Cabriolet variants for people that wanted something unique. The DS 21 Cabriolet ended production in 1972.
