De Tomaso Guarà (1994 to 2004)

Perhaps the lesser known De Tomaso, the Guara was the final car produced by famed Argentinian auto giant Alejandro De Tomaso. The vehicle is a two-seat coupe or open-top roadster. It was built in Modena, Italy, beginning in 1994, where they placed a BMW V8 (with 280hp) in the mid-rear section of the car and later a Ford V8 that was supercharged (with 320hp.) The vehicle delivered all power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual Getrag gearbox. The car was designed with an aluminum frame, carbon fiber, and fiberglass body. Only 52 cars were built when production stopped in 2004.
