DeSoto Firedome - 3rd Gen (1957 to 1959)

The third and final generation of DeSoto Firedome was introduced for the 1957 model year. This final generation of Firedome saw the model become DeSoto's intermediate offering, available in coupe, sedan, convertible, and station wagon body styles. DeSoto fit the Firedome with a selection of V8 engines, including a 5.9L unit. Production of the DeSoto Firedome lasted until 1959, as the company consolidated its offerings.
