DKW Munga (1956 to 1968)

The Munga was introduced by DKW in 1956. This four wheel drive vehicle was designed mainly for the German army and other security forces, although it also had civilian versions. With a 4-speed manual transmission and a 896cc or 981cc inline 3 engine, the Munga had three different versions: Munga 4 (four seater), Munga 6 (pick-up) and Munga 8 (long pick-up). This model was also built in Brazil with the name of Candango. The DKW Munga was produced until 1968.
