Dodge Charger R/T - 2nd Gen (1968 to 1970)

The Dodge Charger R/T is a high performance variant of the 2nd Gen Dodge Charger. Introduced for the 1968 model year, the R/T, whcih stood for Road and Track, was given a special exterior package which included a stripe package and badging. Under the hood was the customer's choice of a 440 V8 magnum or a 426 Hemi V8. Customers also had their choice of a three or four-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The 2nd Gen Charger R/T exited production in 1970, but the R/T variant was carried over to the 3rd Gen Charger.
