Dodge Ram 150 (1981 to 1993)

The Dodge Ram 150 was the light duty, or half-ton variant of the First Generation Dodge Ram. Introduced for the 1981 model year, the 150 was offered in regular and extended cab (Club Cab) bodies, and featured inline six, V6, and V8 engines, as well as automatic and manual transmission options. These trucks were built in two drivetrain configurations, rear wheel drive, which was denoted by the letter 'D' or the nameplate 'Ram,' and four wheel drive, which was denoted by the letter 'W' or the nameplate Power Ram. An economy variant of the 150 known as the Miser was introduced in 1982 and was renamed the 100 from 1984 until being dropped in 1989. Production of the First Generation Dodge Ram 150 ended in 1993, when the Second Generation Dodge Ram was introduced.
