The Dodge Ram D150 was the light duty, or half-ton variant of the First Generation Dodge Ram. Introduced for the 1981 model year, the D150 was offered in regular and extended cab (Club Cab) bodies, and featured inline six, V6, and V8 engines, as well as automatic and manual transmission options. These trucks were built with rear-wheel drive, which was denoted by the letter 'D' or the nameplate 'Ram.' Production of the First Generation Dodge Ram D150 ended in 1993, when the Second Generation Dodge Ram was introduced.
