Ducati 851 (1987 to 1993)

The Ducati 851 was a Sport bike style motorcycle that debuted in 1987 replacing the Ducati 750 F1. The 851 was powered by a liquid cooled 851cc Twin-cylinder, V-type engine producing 93hp. In 1991 the SP Series was released in limited numbers required to be homologated for racing. The SP Series was powered by a liquid cooled 888cc Twin-cylinder, 90° L-type engine producing 116hp. The Ducati 851 was superseded by the Ducati 888 in 1991.
